Look closely at the pics and you can see the Fire Flies on the long exposures.

Last night sirens that sounded like WWII air-raid warnings started up in Frisco and across Dallas, we turned on the TV and checked the weather. There were storms and a possible tornado heading right our way.......it went instantly dark outside, wind picked up and lightning started. As we moved to sit in the bathroom where there were no windows, trees began falling and then there was a loud banging. When Rach opened the door it was like out of a movie, all you could see was debris flying and a woman was screaming to come in. She had seen the tornado in the distance and ditched her truck as it was starting to lift off the road. All three of us waited in the bathroom, power was out and a tree came down on the house just above us. Five minutes later it was over, the storm passed and the sky went an atomic orange at sunset.

Good that was bloody exciting!!
Love these. This text works really well with these images Dom. Builds lots of great mental pictures. I love that relationship. x
I never really thought of the text and image going together. Now you mentioned it though this makes me think of why I like Raymond Carvers stories, because you have a short extract from an event.
